Accessibility

Last updated 1 August 2026 · Version 1.0

How accessible this website is, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us when something blocks you. We would rather publish an honest list than claim to be perfect.

01

In short

We want everyone to be able to read this site and enrol on a programme, however they browse. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. We have not had an independent audit yet, so this statement is based on our own checks — and it lists what we know is not right. If something stops you, email support@ashwoodeducation.com and we will help you directly while we fix it.

02

What we have done

The site is built to work without a mouse: every link, button, form field and menu can be reached and used from the keyboard, and the item you are on is always visibly outlined. Pages use real headings in order, so a screen reader can jump through them, and every form field has a label attached to it rather than placeholder text pretending to be one. Text contrast is checked against the AA threshold. Movement respects your system setting — if you have asked your device to reduce motion, the animations stop. The site can be zoomed to 200% and read on a phone without side-scrolling, and its language is declared as British English so screen readers pronounce it correctly.

03

What is not right yet

We know about these and are working on them:

No skip link. Someone using a keyboard or screen reader has to move through the navigation on every page before reaching the content.
Booking and payment are other companies' pages. The calendar on Book a call and the card page at checkout are provided by Cal.com and Razorpay. We chose them partly on accessibility, but we do not control them. If either blocks you, contact us and we will take your booking or payment another way — by phone or by invoice.
Brochures are PDFs. They are not yet tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will send the same information as plain text or in an email.
No independent audit. Our checks are our own, which means we will have missed things that a proper test would find.

04

If something blocks you

Tell us and we will fix it, and in the meantime we will get you what you needed. Email support@ashwoodeducation.com with the page address and what happened — what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. It helps to know your browser and any assistive software, but tell us either way.

We reply within five working days. If the fix will take longer than that, we will say how long and how you can do the thing you were trying to do in the meantime.

05

Adjustments on the programmes

This statement is about the website. The teaching is a separate question and we would rather talk it through than have you guess: session recordings, captions, extra time, materials in another format, or a different way of submitting work. Email admissions@ashwoodeducation.com before you enrol and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.

DRAFT — NOT LEGAL ADVICE

This page is a structural draft written to show layout and tone. Every clause must be reviewed and signed off by the client’s solicitor before launch, and the bracketed values replaced with real ones.
