Generative AI

From how machine learning works to building with large language models — prompting, retrieval over your own documents, fine-tuning and agents — taught live by people who ship these systems for a living.

Is this the right course for you?

This is for you if…

  • You are already in work and need one capability, quickly.
  • You can commit two live sessions a week for twelve weeks.
  • You want a capstone project you can take to an interview.

This is not for you if…

  • You are changing career outright — a Post Graduate course gives you a portfolio, not one project.
  • You need a regulated qualification for visa or professional registration. This is not one.
  • You cannot attend live sessions. The recordings are a backup, not the format.
WHAT YOU ACTUALLY LEARN

Twelve weeks, module by module

No competitor in this market publishes module-level detail. We do, because it is the thing you are actually buying.

  1. Weeks 1–2Machine learning foundationsRegression, classification and clustering, and how to tell whether a model is any good — the ground that makes LLMs easier to understand.ML BASICS
  2. Week 3Foundations of Generative AIWhat makes a model generative, GANs, transformers and diffusion, and where GenAI creates real business value.GANS · TRANSFORMERS
  3. Weeks 4–5LLMs and prompt engineeringAttention, tokens and embeddings, choosing a model, then zero-shot, few-shot and chain-of-thought prompts that hold up.LLMS · PROMPTING
  4. Week 6GenAI for data analyticsCalling an LLM through its API, generating SQL and Excel formulas, and checking what the model got wrong.OPENAI API
  5. Weeks 7–8RAG and fine-tuningVector search and a simple retrieval pipeline, then when fine-tuning is worth its cost and data.RAG · HUGGING FACE
  6. Week 9Multimodal, agents and responsible AIImage, audio and video generation, agents that use tools, and the bias, privacy and deepfake risks.AGENTS · MULTIMODAL
  7. Weeks 10–12Capstone and career preparationYour own ML or GenAI solution end to end in an industry you choose, then presentation, portfolio and interview prep.ALL
THE WORK AND THE PEOPLE

You finish with work you can show, and people you can name.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME

Asked before every Generative AI cohort

Do I need to know how to code?

A little helps, but it is not required. Weeks one and two start with how machine learning works, and the Python you need to call a model comes in as you go. Plan for a few practice hours between sessions.

Is this about using ChatGPT, or building with it?

Building. You will use the same models, but through their APIs — wiring them to your own data and tools, and knowing when to prompt, when to retrieve and when to fine-tune. Prompting is two weeks, not the whole course.

How is this different from Data Analytics + Generative AI?

That is a Post Graduate course that teaches analytics and GenAI together, for people changing career. This is twelve weeks on machine learning and GenAI alone, for people already in work who need the capability now.

Can I choose the industry for my capstone?

Yes. Your capstone is shaped around the industry you want to work in — technology, finance, banking, healthcare, hospitality and travel, consulting, retail, or supply chain and operations — with real-world-style data and a portfolio-ready result.

What if I miss a session?

The recording is up the same day and your mentor covers it in your next 1:1. Attendance matters for the certificate — you need 80% across the programme — but a handful of missed sessions will not put that at risk.
